Participation in the conference "Achieving optimal results in the treatment of retinal diseases", 24 - 25 April 2015, Barcelona (Spain)
24 - 25 April 2015, Barcelona (Spain) held the conference "Achieving optimal results in the treatment of diseases of the retina". The venue was chosen Hotel Renaissance. The conference was attended by 120 participants from 12 countries, including Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Azerbaijan, USA, Turkey, Lebanon etc.
Ufa research Institute of eye diseases was represented by the head. 4 microsurgical Department, PhD Akhtyamov K. N. The delegation of the Russian Federation consisted of 15 doctors leading eye clinics. Presentations were made on the development of new anti-VEGF drugs. During the meetings they discussed modern approaches, different patterns of use of anti - VEGF drugs and their effectiveness in the treatment of diabetic angioretinopathy, the wet form of Central choroidal dystrophy, thrombosis of the retinal veins. During the conference it was allocated considerable time for interactive debates and questions from the audience to each panel of experts. Part of ophthalmologists of the Republic in the international eye care forums allows to increase their professional level, to get acquainted with modern methods of treatment of eye diseases and to exchange experience with Russian and foreign colleagues.
