The conference was devoted to topical issues of treatment of diseases of the vitreous and retina. Was attended by more than 200 ophthalmologists of the Republic. The meeting was opened by the Director Ufrii GB, M. D. Professor M. M. Bikbov. The conference was attended by guests from the leading ophthalmologic clinics of Russia.

Also in August, 2013 was held an unscheduled fifth conference, and those ophthalmologists RB, who was present at this meeting were rewarded with additional prizes - electric kettles (Akmalova I. For the contribution to development of ophthalmology society meeting was noted ophthalmologists of the Republic of Bashkortostan. For the first place physician Arslanbey S. B. (Kugarchinskiy R-Oh) handed over an electronic tablet; the second place - the doctors Malkin M. N. (Iglinskiy R-Oh), Hamidullin A. A. (Buzdyaksky district), Garipov, F. M. (blagovarsky district), Akmalova I. F. (Dyurtyuli), Simonova N. In. (Ufa, floor-ka № 40) were cameras by CANON; III place – Akramova G. R. (Kushnarenkovskogo R-Oh), Fedorov A. V. (Davlekanovo), Kamazova L. A. (Tomsk) was awarded with DVD players.

InSeptember 2013 27 ophthalmologists (17 of them from the cities and districts of the Republic: Gizatullina, N. N., Valieva, G. G., Elvira, L. N., Antsiferov, S. V., Zalyaeva F. F., I. G. M., Galieva G. A., Kuznetsov A. R., Yamaletdinova R. F., Kazakbaev R. A., Ibragimov, L. V., Gainoullina R. H., Danilov V. V., Iskhakova Z. G., Mahenova N. M. Kirilina O. V., Bulatov, L. K. and 10 ophthalmologists GBU "Ufa research Institute of eye diseases of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Bashkortostan") - the winners of a contest held during the conference "East-West" visited Kazan, Tatarstan where he held the all-Russian Congress with international participation "Glaucoma at the turn of centuries", dedicated to 100-anniversary of birthday of Professor M. B. Vurgaft

All the ophthalmologists of the Republic, guests from other regions of Russia are waiting at the conferences held Ufrii eye diseases in 2014.
