The delegation of the Ufa research Institute of eye diseases took part in the XI Russian national ophthalmic forum
The delegation of the Ufa research Institute of eye diseases, headed by Director of the Institute, Professor M. M. Bikbov took part in the XI Russian national ophthalmologic forum, which took place from 10 to 12 October 2018 in Moscow. The Congress was attended by more than 2800 ophthalmologists.
At the opening ceremony the participants of the Congress the guests were greeted by the Director of the fsbi "Moscow research Institute of eye diseases. Helmholtz", corresponding member of RAS, chief specialist ophthalmologist of the Ministry of health of Russia, doctor of medical Sciences, Professor V. V. neroev, rector of the Moscow state medico-stomatological University n. a. A. I. Evdokimov, Professor Yanushevich O. O.
The main areas of work of the conference was advances in the diagnosis and treatment of socially significant diseases of the eye, pathology of refraction and binocular vision, glaucoma, fundamental and applied researches and issues oftalmoonkologii. The conference was held a meeting of the relevant Committee in ophthalmology and pediatric ophthalmology under the Expert Council of the Ministry of health of the Russian Federation, satellite symposia and the exhibition of ophthalmic equipment of the leading domestic and foreign manufacturers.
Employees of the Ufa research Institute of eye diseases was presented at the forum 2 of the report.
At the plenary session the Director of the Institute, Professor M. M. Bikbov, presented the report "Surgerypterygium using a femtosecond laser", which has been reflected first in Russia experience of application of the original transactions using the femtosecond laser, the factors of disease progression and the necessity of early treatment.
In the course of the session of young scientists scientific researcher of the laboratory of lens surgery and intraocular correction Nureyev I. F. presented a paper on "the Use of toric IOLs for correction of astigmatism during cataract traumatic and post-traumatic changes of the cornea".
