The staff of the Institute participated in the XI International Congress "Glaucoma: theory, trends, technologies", 6-7 December 2013 in Moscow.

The staff of the GBU "Ufa research Institute of eye diseases of the Academy of Sciences of Belarus" (Director - Professor M. M. Bikbov, head of research Department, M. D. A. E. Babushkin, physician, glaucoma and cataracts, candidate of medical Sciences O. I. Orenburkina, head of information and analytical and legal Department Abdrakhmanova E. S.) participated in the work of the XI International Congress "Glaucoma: theory, trends, technologies", which took place on 6-7 December 2013 in Moscow.

Reports "the Results of follow-up and outpatient stage of treatment of patients with primary open-angle glaucoma" from the team of authors was made by M. D. A. E. Babushkin. The report "Medical error: the legal aspects" was presented by E. S. Abdrakhmanova. Both topics aroused a keen interest of conference participants and many questions were given satisfactory answers of the lecturers. Director of the Institute Professor M. M. e co-chair, and, on December 7, 2013 participated in the work of the Expert Council on the problems of glaucoma.
