Staff of the Ufa Eye Research Institute in the XVI All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference with International Participation "Fedorov readings - 2019" in Moscow

Ophthalmologist E. Lukianova and junior research worker K. Kudoyarova participated in the work of the the XVI All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference with International Participation "Fedorov readings - 2019", which was held in the S. Fyodorov Eye Microsurgery Federal State Institution on 27-28 of June 2019 (Moscow).

Topical issues of fundamental ophthalmology, advanced technologies of corneal surgery, innovations in glaucoma diagnosis and treatment, issues of ophthalmo- traumatology, ophthalmoplasty, modern aspects of neuroophthalmology and methods of controlling myopia progression in children were discussed during the Conference. 

A video symposium "Irregular clinical cases in ophthalmic surgeon practice" took place within the Conference. 

The delegates of the Ufa Eye Research Institute presented the following reports:

• Comparative assessment of the results of scleral reinforcement surgery using UV-irradiated xenograft of the experement (K. Kudoyarova);
• Differential approach to the method of surgical treatment of congenital upper eyelid ptosis in patients under the age of 18 (E. Lukyanova).

There was an exhibition of pharmaceutical products and sale of new professional literature within the Conference.
