Participation in the work of "the X Russian national ophthalmological forum"
The delegation of employees of the Ufa research Institute of eye diseases, headed by a Director, corresponding member Q. Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Professor M. M. Bikbov, took part in "the X Russian national ophthalmological forum". The forum took place 3-5 October 2017 in Moscow, hotel "Radisson SAS Slavyanskaya".
In the conference took part more than 2 thousand participants, including 78 foreign representatives.
The scientific program of the conference was devoted to modern technologies in ophthalmology providing eye care in the framework of the predictive, preventive and personalized medicine, diagnosis and treatment of retinal diseases, glaucoma, congenital and hereditary diseases of the eye, basic and applied research in ophthalmology.
In the scientific program of the forum from the Ufa research Institute of eye diseases was presented 2 reports. Director of the Institute, corresponding member Q. Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Professor M. M. Bikbov, presented the keynote address in the section "Modern technologies in ophthalmology": "Crosslinking of the cornea. Peculiarities of morphological changes of the tissues of the eyes." Head of children's microsurgical Department, doctor. med. Sciences I. S. zaidullin presented the report "Calculation of optical power of the IOL in infants with congenital cataracts" in section "Congenital and hereditary diseases of the eye".
In the framework of the conference there was held a meeting of the relevant Committee in ophthalmology and pediatric ophthalmology under the Expert Council of the Ministry of health of the RussianFederation.
Simultaneously with the plenary sessions were held satellite symposia at which presentations were made known to ophthalmologists.
