February 4, 2017 in Moscow held a scientific-practical conference with international participation "I. Cornea Ultraviolet corneal crosslinking in the treatment of keratectasia". The conference was dedicated esteticheski diseases of the cornea and the use of crosslinking, as pathogenetically oriented method of treatment and was conducted with the support of the Federal State Budgetary Educational institution of Higher professional Education "MOSCOW STATE MEDICAL DENTAL UNIVERSITY named A. I. EVDOKIMOV" Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.
The conference was attended by about 250 delegates, mainly from Russia.
The conference was held the exhibition of diagnostic equipment and consumables for the crosslinking of the cornea.
The conference program was dedicated to dystrophic corneal diseases, in particular keratoconus.
Honorary guests and speakers at the conference were the leading domestic experts in the field of corneal diseases and keratoconus Professor Malyugin B. E., Professor A. Y. Slonimsky, Professor Bikbov M. M.. software-report on the application of crosslinking the cornea in the corneal ectasias, was made Professor Barbara Adel, chief editor of "Keratoconus and ectatic corneal diseases" (esteticheskie Keratoconus and corneal disease).
Ufa research Institute of eye diseases, presented the results of long-term use of corneal crosslinking and modern development of our clinic in this area.
