A large delegation of the Bashkir ophthalmologists took part in the all-Russian scientific-practical conference "New technologies in ophthalmology", held on 8 April in Kazan.
The delegation included ophthalmologists 1 microsurgical Department, MD Bikbulatov A., Ph. D. Mannanova R. F. and 43 ophthalmologist from cities and districts of the Republic of Bashkortostan and Ufa.
In the conference took part more than 600 ophthalmologists from different cities of Russia. Featured more than 80 oral and 7 poster presentations electronically.
Welcome remarks the conference was opened by health Minister of Tatarstan Republic A. Vafin Yu, chief ophthalmologist of Ministry of health of the Republic of Tatarstan, head physician of SAHI rkob MZ RT, head of the Department of ophthalmology GBOU DPO KSMA, PhD, Amirov A. N.
The conference discussed new approaches in the treatment of glaucoma, pathology of the anterior and posterior eye, and topical issues in refractive surgery. During the conference was carried out live surgery, which was attended by surgeons from different cities of Russia.
For participants was organized ophthalmic exhibition and presentation of the latest ophthalmic products.
For guests and conference participants was conducted tour in the historic center of Kazan with visiting Kazan Kremlin, mosques and cathedrals of the city.
