April 6, 2018 in the framework of the III medical forum "health Week in the Republic of Bashkortostan" was held a scientific-practical conference "Diagnosis and treatment ocular manifestations of infectious and systemic diseases". The conference wound Ufa research Institute of eye diseases and Department of infectious diseases of the Bashkir state medical University. The conference was attended by more than 300 practicing physicians of various specialties, students, and residents from different cities: Shymkent (Kazakhstan), Saransk (Russia), Ryazan (Russia), Nizhniy Novgorod (Russia), Ufa, as well as the cities and regions of Bashkortostan.
The conference was organized in the framework of continuous medical education. Its main goal is acquiring new knowledge about the eye manifestations of common infectious and systemic diseases for their introduction into clinical practice of ophthalmology and improve the efficiency of diagnostic and therapeutic interventions in patients.
The scientific program of the conference consisted of two sections, in total, there were 9 lectures. With welcoming speech to the participants of the conference were the Deputy Director for science Ufa research Institute of eye diseases, doctor of biological Sciences N. E. Shevchuk and head of the Department of infectious diseases BSMU, Professor D. A. Valishin. Analysis of the work of ophthalmic services in the Republic of Bashkortostan for 2017 was presented by the head. org.-method. Department UF NII GB MD zainutdinova G. H.
In the morning session focuses on the modern approach to the diagnosis and treatment of parasitic disease. Presented the lecture:

The afternoon session was devoted to questions of diagnostics, treatment and prevention of HIV and herpes lesions. Were presented the following lectures:

The participants received new information in the field of ophthalmology and Infectology, mastered modern methods and principlesclinical-laboratory diagnostics of the most common and topical infectious and ophthalmologic diseases from the perspective of interdisciplinary interaction.
