Today in Moscow the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov spoke at the enlarged meeting of the Collegium of the Ministry of health of the Russian Federation, devoted to results of work in 2017 and major activities for the upcoming period.
– Improving health – is our top priority. I constantly, every day health issues – not just meetings, discussions, but also quite deep processing of literature, including the special – said Rustem Khamitov. – We have held many interesting workshops, forums. In recent years it has held events such as international conference on ophthalmosurgery, IX Congress of oncologists of Russia, the First Russian-Chinese Congress of neurological surgeons, the all-Russian forum "health Resort" and many others. After SCO and BRICS summits, which have passed from us in 2015, Bashkortostan, Ufa became the Convention and the capital of the Russian Federation. If the hall is willing soundly, well, at a high level to hold the special Congress, I invite you to join us. Everything will be at the highest level.
The head of the Republic noted that in the past year life expectancy in Bashkortostan crossed the mark of 70 years.
For us, today's figure of 71.5 years is very significant. Because four years ago he was 68 years old. This indicates a good movement forward, quality progress, – said Rustem Khamitov. Every year we add one year of life expectancy.
In his speech the head of region has told about priority directions of development of the health system in Bashkortostan, construction of new facilities, innovative research of scientists of the Republic.
style="text-align: justify;"> – Today in Russia, pyramid health care, attitude to health, unfortunately, is upside down, – said Rustem Khamitov. – The basis of all must be healthy lifestyle, then prevention, then our conventional medicine and the top of the pyramid by the way, a small high – tech medicine. Unfortunately, these layers are arranged among themselves in the wrong way, do not get the pyramids. A healthy lifestyle, prevention is the cornerstone.
The head of the Republic supported the project of Strategy of formation of healthy lifestyle of the population, the prevention and control of noncommunicable diseases for the period until 2025. According to the document, in all constituent entities of the Russian Federation recommended to create a government Commission in the field of health protection of citizens under the leadership of heads of governments of the regions. Rustem Khamitov underlined that he is ready to personally lead such a Commission.
– Physicians are the vanguard of society, I am convinced. If not medicine, not doctors, not health workers, who will move the country forward? Together we can and must accomplish this task, needs to solve, – said the Head of Bashkortostan. Helps us, the public, including we work with the National medical chamber and other agencies.
