New achievement of scientists of the Ufa research Institute of eye diseases the Grant of the European Society of cataract and refractive surgeons (ESCRS).
The delegation of the Ufa research Institute of eye diseases participated in the annual scientific-practical conference "Fedorov readings–2013", which took place in IRTC "eye microsurgery them. Acad. S. N. Fedorov" in Moscow on 21-22 June 2013 In the opening ceremony of the conference was attended by such leading scholars as Professor Chukhrai, A. M., Professor Avetisov S. E., Professor Bikbov M. M., Professor neroev V. V., Professor Brovkina A. F., Professor L. K. Moshetova and others.
At the conference were presented lectures and reports of leading domestic and foreign scientists: 14 sections 69 reports.
Employees of the Ufa research Institute of eye diseases presented 2 oral and 3 poster presentations. Professor Bikbov M. M. reported long-term results of automated endothelial keratoplastyperformed in Ufa research Institute of eye diseases. The report reflected the modern aspects of corneal transplant and the results of the latest original technique, developed at the Institute.
In the framework of the conference "Fedorov readings–2013", in the eighth time took place the conference of young scientists "Actual problems of ophthalmology" (20 June 2013). Researcher of the Department of surgery of the cornea and lens N.B. Zaynullin et al presented an oral report on the topic "the Crosslinking of the cornea with iatrogenic ectasia after LASIK".

The Bureau of each section, composed of leading Russian ophthalmologists evaluated the practical and scientific level of studies, as well as presentations and posters. In total were awarded 15 diplomas to the winners of the conference. Young scientists were awarded with grants for free training courses, including WETLAB, lecture cycle.
Report Of Zainullina N. B. was highly appreciated by the Commission, taking first place in the section of ophthalmic surgery. Nelly bulatovna received the only grant provided by the European Society of cataract and refractive surgeons (ESCRS), and now she will be one of the representatives of the Ufa research Institute of eye diseases at the annual Congress of ESCRS which will be held inOctober 2013 in Amsterdam (Holland).
