News c scientific-practical conference with international participation "the Cornea II. The topography of the cornea. Aberrations the eye."
February 3, 2018, in Moscow was held a scientific-practical conference with international participation "the Cornea II. The topography of the cornea. Aberrations the eye." At the conference, which was held in an educational format, was attended by about 500 ophthalmologists from the regions of the Russian Federation and Moscow.
Software reports were devoted to modern methods aspheric intraocular correction of ametropia (Professor B. Malyugin) and personalised laser correction of refractive errors (prof Doga A.V.). Professor D. Gastinel from France, briefed colleagues on the topography of the cornea.
The main reports included important information about ceratocanthinae (Professor Anisimov S. I.), the results of surgical treatment of the cornea (Professor Kalinnikov Yu. Yu.), modern approaches to the diagnosis of keratoconus, including aberrometry (PhD Kachanov A. B.). Attention was paid to the treatment of corneal diseases, particularly dry eye syndrome (Professor D. Yu. Maichuk) and the inflammatory sequelae after wearing contact lenses (Professor A. Y. Slonimsky).
Ufa research Institute of eye diseases was presented by the report of the PhD Usubov E. L. and co-authors on "Antioxidant status in patients with keratoconus after UV cross-linking of the cornea", which aroused interest among the audience of scientific-educational forum.
With the information about novelties of the largest Russian and foreign ophthalmology and pharmaceutical companies were available at the exhibition of the conference.
