Ophthalmologists East and West will unite the international scientific-practical conference in Ufa
V international scientific-practical conference on ophthalmic surgery "East-West 2014" will be held at Ufa Congress hall on June 5-6. Organizes the forum of the Ufa research Institute of eye diseases and the Academy of Sciences RB.
As reported in the organizing Committee, will be attended by more than 700 ophthalmologists from different regions of Russia: from Moscow and Saint-Petersburg to Chita. The conference program is organized in a new format presented the section "West" and "East". The CIS countries will present ophthalmologists of Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. From abroad will arrive more than 30 leading experts in the field of world ophthalmology.
Under the section "West" famous European ophthalmologists from Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, the United States will report on their achievements in the field of treatment of eye diseases.
East will be presented by scientists from Vietnam, India, Japan, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
Traditionally, the practical part will be presented "live surgery" broadcasts of surgical demonstrations, which will be run by the leading surgeons of the Ufa research Institute, Italy, Moscow, Novosibirsk, and Yekaterinburg.
All these operations can be viewed after the conference in a special videoservice on the website of the Institute.
For the first time will be organized the online broadcast of the conference. Everyone will be able anywhere in the world to take part in its work.
Five breakout sessions will present papers on topical problems of ophthalmology. Satellite symposia are specialized for individualareas of ophthalmological diseases.
The forum will hear about 100 reports conducted competitions for the best report in the section and the best electronic poster.
Traditionally planned an extensive exhibition of medical equipment and drugs, the scientific literature presents the development and the Ufa research Institute of eye diseases.
