Ophthalmologists Bashkortostan discussed the problems of glaucoma
In the Ufa scientific research Institute of eye diseases of the Academy of Sciences of Belarus hosted a scientific-practical conference "Actual problems of treatment of glaucoma". In it participated more than 200 specialists.
Honorary guest of the forum, he's the keynote speaker — the President of the Russian glaucoma society, head of the Department of ophthalmology of the medical faculty Russian state medical University, chief ophthalmologist of the Medical centre management Department of the President of the Russian Federation, doctor of medical Sciences, Professor Eugene Yegorov , special attention is paid to modern approaches to rational therapy of glaucoma.
His first steps in big science, renowned scholar Evgeny Egorov did in the walls of the Ufa research Institute of eye diseases — here he defended his candidate's dissertation. As noted in the Institute, the conference was an opportunity to thank the Professor for his contribution in the Russian and Bashkir ophthalmology — Eugene A. was awarded the title "Honorary Professor of the Ufa research Institute of eye diseases". In a solemn ceremony he was awarded a commemorative diploma and a must-have accessory of the Professor — robe and headdress.
Also during the forum the Deputy Director of the Institute of zulaikha Marvanova summed up the past year, noting that in 2012, the ophthalmologists of the Republic of Bashkortostan has made many efforts to improve the quality of patient care. Doctors who have made a significant contribution to the development of the Republican ophthalmology, were awarded with valuable gifts.
The event was timed to the International day against glaucoma and was supported by the Bashkortostan regional branch of the society of ophthalmologists of Russia and the Regional branch of the public organization "Association of ophthalmologists".
In the Ufa scientific research Institute is preparing for another major forum June 6-7 in the Bashkir capital will host international scientific-practical conference onophthalmosurgery "East-West 2013".
