Today the head of the region welcomed participants of the international conference on ophthalmic surgery "East-West".
The forum gathered more than seven hundred doctors and scientists from Russia, CIS, Europe and Asia. Rustem Khamitov praised the Bashkir school of ophthalmology, noting that our centers help people in cases when they had lost all hope to restore sight. The Republic is trying to increase in society, as expressed by the head of the Bashkortostan Republic, culture of health care. At the meeting, Rustem Khamitov presented state awards to the best specialists in the field of ophthalmology.
