Part V of the Central-Asian conference on ophthalmology, 29 - 30 June 2018 (Kyrgyzstan)
From 29 to 30 June 2018 in Kyrgyzstan in the area of the Alpine lake Issyk-Kul hosted the fifth Central-Asian conference on ophthalmology. The conference was organized by the Department of ophthalmology, Kyrgyz state medical Academy. I. K. akhunbaeva and medical center "Dordoi OFTAL'mik Service".
To exchange experiences at the conference gathered more than 250 ophthalmologists of Japan, South Korea, Turkey, India, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Russia (Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Simferopol, Novosibirsk, Ufa, Orenburg).
The program of the conference included the main topics of ophthalmology: "pathology of the anterior segment of the eye issues myopia", "Topical issues in cataract surgery", "Pathogenesis and treatment of glaucoma", "pathology of the retina". Was presented about 50 research papers.

The conference participants had the opportunity to attend lectures of leading professors from Russia, Japan, and South Korea. Held a teleconference "the Live surgery. IOL implantation new generation" of the operating clinic, "UMA EYE Clinic" Chennai, India.
Traditionally, the conference was an exhibition of medical equipment and drugs.
