The Ufa Institute of eye diseases was the first in Russia thanks to the unique equipment.

The unique equipment, which has units in the world and not even in Russia, recently received the Ufa research Institute of eye diseases. Femtosecond system in combination with an excimer laser unit allow for space technology to solve the issues of treatment of cataracts, diseases of the cornea and to vision correction. Before delivery of new equipment in the operating room of the Institute was reconstructed premises. Total investment in the project amounted to more than 114 million rubles.
