Ufa research Institute of eye diseases check the effect of badminton on children's vision

Sports badminton Federation of the Republic of Bashkortostan together with "Ufa research Institute of eye diseases" of the Academy of Sciences of Belarus have agreed about carrying out of scientific researches about the positive impact of badminton on children's vision.

A sports game with shuttlecock and racket can improve vision, says sports badminton Federation. Social project organization "Badminton and children's vision" were able to prove it. For its implementation the Ministry of labour and social protection of the population of Belarus has been allocated a monetary grant in the amount of 300 thousand rubles. With these funds the organization has purchased feather shuttlecocks. Soon the Federation will get other goods, you need to practice — school kits for badminton, Amateur racket, plastic shuttlecocks. The entire inventory will be sent to the clubs, leagues and youth sports school.

In the framework of the activities and events that will hold this year's trainers badminton Federation, staff of scientific research Institute of eye diseases will be to observe the dynamics of the influence of sports games on the eyesight of children. In 2015, physicians will sum up the results of the experiment.

The Federation has conducted the first stage of the national badminton tournament in Ufa DYUSSH No. 32 among boys and girls 14 and under. In competitions participated 57 badminton players, the press service of the Ministry of labour RB. The owners of the stadium, pupils of DYUSSH No. 32, was the first, winning 29 medals out of 32 played.

As the results of medical examinations, among the abnormalities detected in the students ranks myopia. Such sports activities as badminton, can play a positive role in the prevention of onset and progression of myopia in children. Science has proven that in the process dosed sessions of badminton is training accommodative muscle, improves blood circulation, including in vessels of the cervical spine.
