In Ufa will host the conference "East–West"
7-8 June 2018 in Ufa will host the next IX international conference "East–West". Traditionally, participation in the work of the forum ophthalmologists, are known far beyond the Republic of Bashkortostan and the Russian Federation, will bring together experts from Europe, Asia, USA and, of course, the many regions of Russia.
Ufa will again meet a delegation of ophthalmologists, both eminent and young, of leading profile scientific research institutions, eye clinics and medical Universities of various Russian cities. The forthcoming forum will come to share their knowledge and experience and by leading ophthalmologists and abroad.
The aim of the conference is education of ophthalmologists and the exchange of practical experience and, most importantly, familiarity with modern methods of treatment of eye diseases, including the development of the Ufa Institute of eye diseases and advanced medical technologies, equipment and scientific literature.
The scientific program of the conference will traditionally consist of sessions devoted to various problems of eye diseases, in which ophthalmologists will be able to expand the discussion and to discuss the most important and critical questions of clinical practice. In addition to plenary sessions will be held and satellite symposia, covering different aspects of diagnosis and treatment of other ophthalmological diseases. The program of the conference will have more than 100 reports of ophthalmologists, the best of whichwill receive diplomas.
We are planning the meeting "Videosession" with a display and discussion of interesting clinical cases from the practice of ophthalmologists of Russia, CIS and far abroad.
"Live surgery" - the pearl of the forum, usually in the form of demonstration operations will be broadcast from the operating UV NII GB by the leading Russian and Ufa surgeons.
For the second time in the conference for aspiring ophthalmologists planned short-term training courses for school system, started in 2017 and had great success.
Will again be organized by the section of young scientists, which attracted much attention at the previous forum in 2017 and demonstrating the results of experimental and clinical research of young professionals.
Ophthalmologists who are not able to attend the conference will have the opportunity to participate in its work in the online mode via the Internet by logging on to the website of the International conference "East-West".
Will be published in the annual scientific-practical journal "Point of view. East-West", which will be presented the main results of scientific-practical researches of Russian and foreign ophthalmologists.
Traditionally, in the framework of this event will be held specialized exhibition of medical equipment and products, which will be attended by leading domestic and foreign companies.

The conference is held according to the plan of the Academy of Sciences and the Ministry of health of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
