In Ufrii GB equipped with modern electrophysiological equipment "Neuro-MVP-4" ("Neurosoft", Russia), allowing electroretinographic research and recording visual evoked potentials.

Visual evoked potentials are recorded on the flash light and draw the pattern. Electroretinography is performed by using ganzfeld stimulator, white, red, blue, green color of varying intensity.

When conducting electrophysiological examinations provided:

- objective assessment of the functional state of the retina and visual pathways;
- early diagnosis of diseases of the retina, the visual pathway as a whole;
differential diagnosis of diseases of the retina and optic nerve;
control in dynamics over the course of the disease;
- the prognosis of the disease in relation to recovery of visual function.
