After global reconstruction and re-equipment in the framework of the charity Fund "Ural", the newly earned microsurgical operating I office on 2 floor of the building on Pushkin street, 90. Radical reconstruction had been the room itself is operating. Repair and furnish of premises carried out in accordance with world standards, the operating equipped with supply and exhaust ventilation, climate-control, automatic doors, envisages the separation of patients.

Radically changed and the equipment operating. The heart of the operating is a combination laser platformincludes the latest excimer laser system TECHNOLAS217 P and femtosecond system VICTUS. As you know, TECHNOLAS217 P is one of the fastest and most technologically advanced lasers inworld. The system allows to perform different types of laser vision correction LASIK, FRK and FTK, namely:

Lasik standard method for correction of myopia, hyperopia and astigmatism.
Transkranialna technique Lasik (TISSUESAVE) allows you to keep safe the corneal thickness during correction to carry out the operation in patients with relatively thin corneas.
Aspheric Lasik technique greatly reduces the likelihood of problems with night vision patients after surgery.
Personalized technique Lasik (Super Lasik) correction terms taking into account the individual characteristics of each patient's eye for minimizing undesirable optical effects.
SupraCor – vision correction for patients with presbyopia.

The use of the system TECHNOLAS PERFECT VISION gives you the opportunitya comprehensive examination, identify hidden pathologies and the most accurate and safe execution of laser vision correction.

The VICTUS femtosecond laser is the newest system that allows you to perform operations on the cornea and the crystalline lens. The system provides a personalized approach to each operation with simple management software CUSTOMFLAP,CUSTOMLENS, CUSTOMSHAPE and INTRACOR.
CUSTOMLENS – new procedure femtosecond laser cataract surgery, which involves performing capsulorhexis, tunnel incision and paracentesis incisions for and conduct of the fragmentation kernel. Stage femtosecond laser in cataract surgery allows to reduce the dose of the applied ultrasound and reduces operation time.
CUSTOMFLAP – creation of corneal flap in laser vision correction, allows to carry out delicate laser vision correction. Advantages of system – reduced operation time, allows to obtain qualitatively new stromal cut, provides free selection of thickness, to free choice of diameter and position of the "legs" of the flap, as well as variable angle of the incision.

COMBINATION LASER PLATFORM TECHNOLAS & VICTUS extends and increases the efficiency of refractive and cataract surgery, ensurecontinuous workflow for the surgeon and more efficient use of space.
Also, it is equipped with state of the artoperating microscope OPMI Lumera 700. A system stereological lighting provides high image quality and excellent visualization of the smallest detail, high contrast, brightness and stability of the red reflex from the fundus. The monitoring system of the fundus RESIGHT allows to carry out surgical intervention on the back segment of the eye. The Central management interface of the microscope and Callisto eye wireless foot control panel ensures maximum ease of use. In the OPMI Lumera 700, the integration of systems of observation of the ocular fundus – RESIGHT, Intvertertube E and built-in camera. The microscope is equipped with a USB port video, monitor 22” and the camera that allows video recording operations is very high quality. Built-in the assistant's microscope provides high rendering quality, its zoom can be synchronized with the main microscope or controlled separately. DeepView system, RESIGHT, keratoscope a wavelength of 610 nm and many other features provide tremendous opportunities in various fields of eye microsurgery.

In this operating performs cataract surgery, cornea and lens, refractive surgery, organized by the staff of the 1st microsurgery Department and the research Department of surgery of the cornea and lens. The modernization and re-equipment of operating allows us to derive a qualitatively new level refractive, cataract and corneal surgery.
