A guide to glaucoma prepared and approved by the Expert Council of the Russian glaucoma society (MOO "Glaucoma company"). Goal-management – improving understanding of the mechanisms of pathogenesis and clinical manifestations of glaucomatous process, the formation of - rational approach to its diagnosis and treatment.

The guide is developed on the basis of consensus of all authors. These clinical recommendations are the result of a long collaboration — designed to doctors and medical officials who can use them for the selection of optimal therapy, the development of quality indicators and management of medical-diagnostic process, to create standard timecards equipment, continuous training of doctors, the amount of medical care.
