Scientific-practical conference for ophthalmologists and endocrinologists of the Republic of Bashkortostan "Master class "Pro-vision"

In the framework of the Russian science Day February 6, 2015 was held a scientific-practical conference for ophthalmologists and endocrinologists of the Republic of Bashkortostan "Master class "Pro-vision"". The event was dedicated to the discussion of one of the most urgent problems of modern medicine – the diagnosis and treatment of ocular manifestations of diabetes.

The conference was organized by the Ufa research Institute of eye diseases. In the opening ceremony of the conference took part: Deputy Minister of health of Belarus D. R. Enikeeva, General Director fgbu "IRTC "eye microsurgery" them. of academician S. N. Fedorova", Professor Chukhrai, A. M. (Moscow), Director of GBU "Ufa research Institute of eye diseases of the Academy of Sciences of Belarus", Professor Bikbov M. M., chief endocrinologist of the Republic of Belarus, head. Department of endocrinology BSMU, MD, Professor Murugova T. V.

The conference was held a teleconference "Ufa–Moscow", by which experts were able to discuss the problems of management of patients with diabetes with the leading specialists of Moscow. During the teleconference, the Director of the Institute for diabetes, MD, Professor, Shestakova M. V. (Moscow)presented the report "Epidemiology of diabetes and vascular disease: focus on diabetic retinopathy". Director of the ophthalmology clinic of the FGI "nmhts them. N. And. Pirogov", MD, Professor, Shishkin M. M. (Moscow) spoke about "Approaches to treatment of diabetic retinopathy and diabetic macular edema". Head of the Department of cardiology of the Clinic of internal diseases propedeutics, gastroenterology and Hepatology them. V. H. Vasilenko, MD, Professor Drapkina O. M. (Moscow) presented the message "the Opinion of a cardiologist on a patient with diabetes is comorbid pathology!".

Chief endocrinologist of the Republic of Belarus, head of the Department of endocrinology BSMU, MD, ProfessorMurugova T. V. presented a report "Differences in anti-VEGF therapy", and the head of ophthalmologic clinic MONICA them. M. F. Vladimirsky, chief ophthalmologist of Moscow region, MD, Professor, Ryabtseva.. The papers presented at the conference provided opportunities to discuss the issues of treatment of patients with diabetes, as well as the continuity of observation of patients by endocrinologists and ophthalmologists. Valuable is the fact that the GBU "Ufa research Institute of eye diseases of the Academy of Sciences of Belarus" took the lead in organizing such events, linking specialists of different specialties, in response to a significant social problem.
