Fedorov" of the Ministry of health of Russia, city of Kaluga hosted a conference devoted to problems and prospects of using antimonopolization therapy. In the conference participated more than 70 ophthalmologists involved in the treatment of diseases of the Central division of the retina in age-related macular degeneration, macular edema diabeticescom.
In the framework of the conference were invited experts concerned with the treatment of diseases of the macula using antimonopolization methods:

Budzynska M. V. presented a plenary lecture on the treatment of age-related macular degeneration, focusing on etiology, pathogenesis and current therapies. During the lecture were presented the new molecule that extends the capabilities of antimonopolization therapy. Special emphasis was placed on forms of macular degeneration, difficult therapy.
Faizrakhmanov RR presented a lecture for 1.5 hours "New therapeutic approaches to the treatment of DMO", devoted to the possibilities of treatment of diabetic macular edema. During the lecture were presented the modern aspects of therapy based on laser technology, the use of steroid drugs and antimonopolization therapies. Was presented a comparative analysis of the effectiveness antimonopolization drugs based on researches VIVID and VISTA, the detailed description of clinically significant macular edema.
