Participation in the scientific-practical conference with international participation “Actual problems of eye microsurgery” on November 8-9 (Tashkent)
Senior researcher of scientific-educational Department M. S. Absalyamov November 8-9, participated in the scientific-practical conference “Actual problems of eye microsurgery”, dedicated to the 15th anniversary of the opening of the Republican specialized scientific-practical medical center of eye microsurgery in Tashkent (Uzbekistan).
The conference was attended by ophthalmologists and researchers from all areas of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as from Russia, Italy and the United States. A report on the achievements and prospects of development of the ophthalmic service of Uzbekistan was made by the Director of the centre for ophthalmology, chief ophthalmologist of the Republic of Uzbekistan Z. W. Seediq. The conference program included scientific presentations on various actual problems of eye microsurgery and ophthalmology: the organization of ophthalmic services surgery cornea, optical-reconstructive and plastic surgery, modern approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma, innovative technologies in ophthalmic surgery and vitreoretinal surgery. The conference was held satellite Symposium Santen and SPFarm "Modern aspects of therapeutic treatment of glaucoma".
November 10, on the basis of the Republican specialized scientific-practical medical center of eye microsurgery Benjamin Lambright (Lyon's eye Institute for transplant and research, USA) session was conducted demonstration operations "the Latest technology in keratoplasty (DCEK, DMEK)".
M. S. Absalyamov presented two reports from the Ufa research Institute of eye diseases:
- Bikbov M. M., Usubov E. L., kazakbaeva G. M. Modern surgical approaches in the treatment of corneal ectasia (section "Surgery of the cornea")
- Bikbov M. M., Orenburkina O. I., Absalyamov M. S., Y. K. Burkhanov Femtolazer-assisted phacoemulsification with implantation of multifocal IOL (section "Innovative technologies in ophthalmic surgery").
The conference was held at a high level. The program caused great interest among the conference participants.
The conference participants from Russia were given the opportunity to make a unique trip to Bukhara – one of the oldest cities in the world, existingat least 2500 years. In the city preserved many old bazaars, craft workshops, merchants ' caravanserais. The high status of Bukhara in the Islamic civilization defines the spiritual activities of the outstanding Bukhara, as well as many monuments of Muslim architecture of the true masterpieces of Central Asia.
