The participation in the 52nd international conference of Turkish society of Ophthalmology
From 12 till 18 Nov 2018 in Turkey, Belek hosted the 52nd international conference of Turkish Society of Ophthalmology (TOD), which brought together specialists from Turkey, many of the Turkic republics, countries of Europe, Asia and America. The conference was attended by over 2000 delegates from Turkey and about 150 representatives of foreign countries. Ufa research Institute of eye diseases was presented by head of the laboratory of transplant surgery anterior segment eye PhD Usubov E. L., Junior researcher of the Department of surgery of the cornea and lens Yury A. Rusakov.
The conference was consecrated to all the field of ophthalmology, including diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the anterior and posterior segment of the eye, ophthalmooncology, oculoplastic, neuro - and pediatric ophthalmology. There was an exhibition of modern ophthalmic equipment, instruments and pharmaceutical products.
The conference was held with the organizational and scientific sessions of the Society of Young Scientists – branch Turkish society of Ophthalmology, where he presented oral reports by the staff of the Ufa research Institute of eye diseases:
- Usubov E. L. Topographic localization of the demarcation line after corneal crosslinking in progressive keratoconus
- Rusakov Yu. a. corneal Transplantation with reconstruction of the anterior segment of the eye in a patient with Acanthamoeba keratitis (videodavid)
style="text-align: justify;">Participation in the conference allowed us to share their results and achievements, to get acquainted with the trends of modern ophthalmology, as well as to establish new contacts with the leading ophthalmologists of Turkey and other countries.
