An introduction to the achievements in the world of ophthalmology
28 Nov 2014 in the capital of the United Kingdom of great Britain in London hosted the 21st annual conference of the British society of diseases of the eye surface – The British Ocular Surface Society "MCLOSA".
The conference was attended by world-renowned ophthalmologists: Professor Friedrich Kruse (Germany) and Professor Anthony Bron (UK). The conference included sections with oral presentations of the representatives of great Britain, Germany, USA, Italy and Spain. All reports reflect basic aspects of development of diseases of the eye and modern methods of treatment.

L. and the winner of the contest "the Most active participant of the conference EAST-WEST – 2014", the head of the surgical Department №2 of GBUZ GKB RB Salavat, Kalinina O. N.From the staff of the Institute at the conference were presented "Combination of intrastromal corneal collagen crosslinking with intrastromal rings implantation in keratoconus treatment" (a Combination of intrastromal corneal crosslinking with implantsiey corneal rings treatmentof keratoconus).
The conference was an exhibition of medical equipment, pharmaceuticals and medical products manufacturers.
