Senior researcher, PhD Sagadatova N. M. participated in the 1st inter-regional conference with international participation "Accommodation: challenges and solutions", held on 26-27 April 2013 in Yaroslavl.
Leading experts of Russia (Prof. Tarutta E. P., Professor Strakhov V. V., Professor, Ovechkin I. G., Professor Brzeski V. V., Professor kornilovskiy I. M., Professor Pershin K. B., prof. Trubilin V. N., Professor Proskurina O. V., Professor Eskin E. N. etc.) discussed the anatomy and physiology of accommodation, innovative methods of objective research, as well as the role and place of accommodation in the process refraktogenesis, new possibilities of optical and contact correction of vision. The special flavor of the conference gave a panel discussion on all key topics, problems of accommodation, including surgical correction of presbyopia, for the first time allocated for discussion in a special section of refractive surgery because of its rapid spread in the world and Russia. Russian expert Council on accommodation and refraction (ASAR) presented a guide for physicians "Accommodation". Company "Alkon" and the participants of the conference presented master-class "Contact correction of presbyopia and astigmatism".
