Participation in the VIII international Euro-Asian conference on ophthalmosurgery April 26-28 (Ekaterinburg)
26-28 April in Ekaterinburg was held the VIII Euro-Asian conference on ophthalmic surgery, which was visited by ophthalmologists from all over the world: USA, Germany, Italy, Japan, the UK, Turkey, France, Sweden, Austria and, of course, Russia. In total more than 800 people.
The delegation from the Ufa research Institute of eye diseases consisted of the Director of the Institute, doctor of medical Sciences, corresponding member Q. ANRB Bikbov: M. M. head. vitreoretinal Department, MD fayzrahmanova R. R., head. 1 microsurgical Department, PhD Khusnitdinov I. I. and the head of the laboratory of lens surgery and intraocular correction PhD Orenburkina O. I.
According to tradition, the first day began with the opening of the exhibition the modern eye care equipment and medical devices. Later in the great hall took place the solemn opening of the VIII international Euro-Asian conference. Its participants were welcomed by: Chairman of Legislative Assembly of Sverdlovsk region L. V. Babushkina, Deputy Minister of health of the Sverdlovsk region S. B. Turks, member.-Q. Russian Academy of Sciences, Professor Kh. p. takhchidi, and Chief ophthalmologist of the Sverdlovsk region, General Director of the EC MNTK "eye microsurgery" O. V. Shilovsky. Next was a stream of "live surgery" where famous Russian and foreign ophthalmic surgeons held a modern operation. All actions of the surgeons was broadcast from operating the Ekaterinburg center of IRTC "eye microsurgery" in real-time.
The second day of the VIII international Euro-Asian conference began with Courses in vitreoretinal surgery, where he discussed the modern methods of surgery of retina and vitreous. Presentations from S. Yamamoto (Japan), V. Ferrara (Italy) and other world-class specialists.Also on this day passed several satellite symposia and sections devoted to modern methods of cataract surgery, glaucoma, issues of ophthalmopathology.
