Participation in all-Russian scientific-practical conference with international participation "current State and ways of improving the quality of eye care in the regions of Russia", may 19-20, 2017, in Makhachkala, Dagestan.
May 19-20, 2017 in the city of Makhachkala, Republic of Dagestan, hosted the all-Russian scientific-practical conference with international participation "current State and ways of improving the quality of eye care in the regions of Russia". The conference was organized by the Dagestan Center of eye Microsurgery in conjunction with the Ministry of health of the Republic of Dagestan and the Dagestan state medical University under the auspices of the Society of ophthalmologists of Russia.
The scientific program of the conference was dedicated to modern trends of development of separate branches of ophthalmology, as well as issues of organization of ophthalmologic aid in Russia's regions.
Leading researcher of the Department of surgery of the cornea and lens of the Ufa research Institute of eye diseases, MD, PhD Usubov E. L. presented a report on the theme: "Femtosecond laser technology in corneal transplants".
The conference hosted meetings of the North Caucasus branches of the Society of ophthalmologists of Russia and the Russian Public organization "Association of ophthalmologists", meeting of the Russian society of cataract and refractive surgeons in the North Caucasus Federal district.
In the framework of the cultural program of the conference there was organized an excursion to the ancient city and Derbent fortress "Naryn-Kala".
A meeting of ophthalmologists was held in a friendly and welcoming environment.
