In Ufa ophthalmologists at the East and West will present the latest developments in the field of treatment of eye diseases
Ufa will be hosting an International conference on ophthalmology "East–West". The eighth forum will be held June 8-9 at the Bashkir state theatre of Opera and ballet. This event is valuable primarily for the professionals, because there is an exchange of experience, acquaintance with modern methods of treatment of eye diseases, including the development of the Ufa Institute of eye diseases, and medical equipment and medicines.
The program includes plenary sessions and satellite symposia. Along with sessions on topical issues of ophthalmology and will be a video session where will be presented interesting clinical cases from the practice of ophthalmologists of Russia, CIS and far abroad.
An integral part of the conference is "live surgery" — live broadcasts of operations from the Ufa research Institute of eye diseases under the guidance of leading Russian and Ufa surgeons.
Will be organized by the section of young scientists "Modern ophthalmology: fundamental and applied aspects", during which they will present and discuss the results of their experimental and clinical studies.
The conference will also be broadcast online.
The representative forum is the Ufa research Institute of eye diseases with the support of the Academy of Sciences and the Ministry of health of Belarus.
