Ufa research Institute of eye diseases awarded a special award in Copenhagen. NII noted for his work on determining the cause and treatment of diseases of the retina as one of the most common diagnoses in ophthalmology. The award was presented to the Director of the Institute of Muharram Bikbov.
The award ceremony was held in the framework of the annual Congress in Denmark, which has held three conferences on various areas of ophthalmology: diseases of the cornea (Eucornea-2016), retina (Euretina-2016) and the lens (ESCRS-2016). The event gathered more than six thousand people from 63 countries.
The session was devoted to the problems of diagnosis and treatment of various types of ophthalmic pathology: infectious diseases of the cornea and transplantation, complications of refractive surgery, intraocular tumors, inflammatory eye diseases, retinal detachment, new techniques for cataract surgery, inflammation and abnormalities of the lens. In addition to the main programs were organized training courses and courses for young scientists, which became an excellent platform for exchange of experience.
Presentations were made by the staff of the Ufa research Institute. The greatest interest among fellow ophthalmologists abroad caused the entry of medical doctors Rinat fayzrahmanova and Ildar Zaidullina, as evidenced by the heated discussion and dozens of questions from Congress participants.
