His father continued Radomes Kudoyarov (1926-2005), who headed the Department of eye diseases, BSMI after Gabdulla of Chabarovice. A famous scientist was also his granddaughter, the doctor biological Sciences, head of laboratory, Institute of biology Guzel Kudoyarov.

In memory of Professor Kudoyarova award of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Bashkortostan for outstanding work in the field of medicine. In February 2009, the Ufa research Institute of eye diseases was held scientific-technical conference "Modern technologies of treatment of diseases of the cornea and the correction of ametropia", dedicated to 110 anniversary of the birth of the scientist. In 2010 saw the light of the autobiographical book of Professor G. Kudoyarov "My life — ophthalmology".
For big merits in development of health Gabdulla Kudoyarov was awarded the order of Lenin and red banner of Labor. He was awarded the honorary title of honored scientist of the RSFSRand BASSR, honoured doctor of the RSFSR and BASSR.
In 1969 he became the first honorary citizen of the city of Ufa.
