The results of treatment of amblyopia in children UV NII GB was presented at the Congress of the Saxon society of ophthalmologists Chemnitz (Germany) on 27-28 November 2015

Joint research paediatric ophthalmologists at our Institute and German colleagues have proven the effectiveness in daily amblyopia pleoptic exercises that help improve visual functions and spatial contrast sensitivity of the visual analyzer.

The basis of this method of treatment is the use of pleoptic complex computer programs for the stimulation and development metricating contacts of neurons in the amblyopic eye of a child, resulting in the architecture of the visual cortex of the brain is restoration of the broken phase of the communicative processes between the involved in processing the stimuli of cellular networks.

The advantage of this technique is the possibility to perform the treatment remotely at home usingtelemedicine through the Internet. The results obtained Ufa ophthalmologists, was highly appreciated by the German colleagues.
