The delegation of the Ufa research Institute of eye diseases participated in the Xth jubilee ophthalmic conference "Refraction – 2014. Current issues of refractive errors in children", dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the children's Department of the Samara regional clinical ophthalmologic hospital. T. I. Eroshevsky. The conference took place in Samara, 28-30 November 2014.
In the framework of the conference on 28 November was held the "School of the surgeon in 3D" with a demonstration demonstration operations in patients with disorders of lens, macular rupture, retinal detachment. Demonstrated a video surgical removal of strabismus, congenital cataract phacoemulsification. Also heard several reports on various aspects of ophthalmology.
29 November took place the opening of the conference opening ceremony during which were discussed the issues of optimal correction of myopia, hypermetropia and astigmatism results cataract surgery and strabismus in children.
