Main objectives of the Department are marketing, advertising, and sale of products produced in the Ufa research Institute of eye diseases; participation in regional and international exhibitions; establishment of business contacts in Russia and neighboring countries, designed to introduce innovative developments of the Institute.

The Department of international relations and marketing provides visa support for employees and foreign nationals invited by the Institute to participate in international scientific events and exchange programs.
Important tasks of the Department are organization of international conferences, development of programs of cooperation with foreign partners and the development of personnel exchanges between scientific institutions of different countries; as well as of customs and documentary support of equipment and medical supplies sent to the Institute.
Ufa research Institute of eye diseases produces and sells:
medical devices Uplink and EXTRALINK for the UV crosslinking of the cornea.
